We are proud to be One TGS Family! See what our Students, Staff, and Parents have to say about being a part of of the TGS family.
I regularly travel on the same bus as some of your students (of various ages), and I wanted to say how respectful, polite, and considerate they are. They get on and off the bus calmly, always allowing others to disembark first, and do so without complaint.
Credit where it's due—your students set a great example, and I felt it was important to highlight this. Young people are often criticised in public, but these pupils truly deserve praise.
You should be proud of the students who travel on the 200 bus.

We have been part of the TGS family since our eldest joined reception in 2016. We have always appreciated the care and support our children have received, not just from their teachers, but also the support staff whom all work so hard to create fun, engaging and nurturing learning opportunities.
When our youngest began showing signs of having additional needs, the team were very quick to implement reasonable adjustments and have kept us included and informed at all times. It truly feels like we are working together to meet her needs. Our eldest moved into the secondary phase this year and has blossomed under the care of her teachers; volunteering to be involved in clubs and school productions.
- TGS Parent
Over the past 9 years TGS has supported both my daughters and helped them to shine. The teachers always show kindness and understanding to help them grow and have encouraged them to follow their passions. My children have always been treated as individuals on their own path, and have been given opportunities to explore and learn at their own pace. I love the aspirational culture of the school and the way they bring the curriculum to life for my girls. I feel really lucky that they have been part of a school that gives so much support and encouragement each day.
- TGS Parent
From the start of my daughters time at the Gatwick school in year 7, as her form tutor she has been incredibly supportive to not just my daughter but myself to as a parent.
She has always gone above and beyond with any issues my daughter has had at school and the level of care she has provided has been incredible. Her Tutor has gone out her way tonight to make contact with me to provide my daughter with the support for school tomorrow. As a mum it is a huge weight off my shoulders knowing that I have her as a point of contact and what feels like a shoulder to lean on, on the harder school days for my daughter. My daughter adores her so much and wishes she could have her as a form tutor every year. Even though she is not her current form tutor my daughter always goes to her when needed.
I hope my other two daughters will be lucky enough to have her when they get to secondary.
- Year 8 Parent
The community feel, everyone genuinely wants to help each other and wants to keep on improving together.
- Headteacher
I have felt part of the TGS family from the moment I walked through the doors on the first day. I have been fully supported by the leadership team throughout my journey from NQT to Early Years and Early Reading Lead. I have found it hugely beneficial working in partnership with other teachers and leaders from our other trust schools. I am excited to be part of the journey we are on and see TGS continue to grow.
- Assistant Headteacher
I like working at TGS because it really does feel like an extension of my family. Everyone is really supportive of each other and all have the children’s best interests at heart.
- Finance Manager
No day is the same! Working with students to grow, learn and move through their school life brings no greater sense of satisfaction. Knowing you can support a child to feel safe, happy and well in their school environment means you are contributing to their whole being holistically. Making a positive difference each day is what I love most about my job.
- Pastoral team
I really enjoy working here, the team I work with is amazing and nothing is ever a problem we just all work well together. I also enjoying helping the students with any behaviour difficulties they may have and listening to them to find the best outcome for them.
- Ready to Learn and Exclusion Manager
I have really enjoyed starting my teaching profession here. The team are so supportive and are always trying to get the best results for their pupils.
