Enrichment

At TGS, we believe that education doesn’t end at the classroom door. Our vibrant Enrichment Programme offers a wide range of lunch and after-school activities that allow students to pursue interests, develop new skills, and grow as confident, well-rounded individuals. 

Enrichment is central to our school values – giving students the chance to try something new, make positive choices about how they spend their time, and contribute to the inclusive, ambitious culture we foster across our community. 

Enrichment Calendar 

Each term, we publish a full Enrichment Calendar detailing clubs and activities available during lunchtimes and after school. These include: 

Sports & Physical Activities: Football, netball, basketball,  

Creative Clubs: Art, drama, choir, school band, creative writing 

Academic Support & Extension: Homework club, STEM club, debating, and languages conversation groups 

Personal Development: Eco club, student leadership drop-ins, and mindfulness sessions 

School Fixtures & Competitions 

Our sports teams regularly take part in local and regional competitions, with weekly fixtures in football, netball, and basketball. Representing the school is a source of pride and builds teamwork, commitment, and resilience.  

By participating in enrichment, students develop leadership, creativity, and confidence – qualities that prepare them not only for success in school but for life beyond it.
