Year 6 SATs

Welcome to Our Year 6 SATs Information Page

As your child approaches the end of their primary school journey, they will be preparing to take their Year 6 SATs (Standard Assessment Tests). We understand that this can feel like an important and sometimes uncertain time for both children and parents, so this page has been created to guide and support you every step of the way.

Here, you will find clear information about what the SATs involve, when they take place, and how best to support your child. We also share practical advice on how you can support your child at home, as well as tips to help them feel confident, prepared, and positive.

Our aim is to ensure that every child feels supported and encouraged, and that parents feel informed and reassured. SATs are just one part of your child’s learning journey, and we are committed to helping them approach these assessments with confidence and a sense of achievement.
