Primary Update

Welcome Back! At the end of last term we had a really busy fortnight. Thank you all for your support at events and buying hamper raffle tickets, and for all the gifts and cards over the festive season. On Friday 14th December we had a really exciting day! The children all wore Christmas Jumpers in aid of Save the Children, and raised a lot of money by donating on the day! They also had an assembly with Henry Smith, MP for Crawley, as 3 of our children had drawn fabulous designs for his Christmas card this year. Genni (Y1) and Teddie (Y3) were runners up, and their pictures were printed inside his card, and Chloe in Y3 won the whole competition (across a number of local primaries) and her picture was on the front of his card this year. They also have the opportunity to visit the House of Commons in London for a tour as part of their prize. All the children who took part also got a certificate from Henry.

Santa visited TGS  in the last week of term too, he was very impressed with how many nice children he met, and had a lovely time going in to see each of them and delivering everyone a small present to take home.
