Firefighters visit to Reception

On Friday 22nd  June the Crawley Firefighters came to The Gatwick School to teach Reception how to stay safe around fire and what to do in an emergency. They taught them about their jobs and showed them their uniform and fire brigade. The children were able to climb inside—it was very high—and they sprayed water from the huge fire hoses too!

Paragon Spectacular - Hastings

On Tuesday 26th June some of our Year three children went to Hastings to take part in the Paragon Spectacular where all the Aurora Schools bring their year six classes to perform something they have learnt from Paragon. As we don’t have year six we were very lucky to be invited early and performed a Japanese Samurai dance. They were fantastic, really confident and in time and made us very proud! We also sung the two opening and closing numbers with all the year sixes, and had ice cream on the beach—a really fun, successful day!
