On Monday we had the NSPCC visit our school to lead two assemblies. They worked with Early Years and Key Stage One to talk about how to stay safe, and what to do if they didn't feel safe. They then led an assembly with Year 3 and Year 7 where they explained types of abuse and how they can be dealt with. They used their mascot, Buddy, to teach the children ‘SPEAK OUT, STAY SAFE!’
Year 1 Hampton Court Trip
On Friday 16th March the Year one children went to Hampton Court. They learnt about all the different rooms and buildings the King had, and how he would use the large kitchens to feed all the people who lived on the grounds. They also saw actors in clothing from the Tudor times and in the kitchens they could see how people would cook on open fires and in cauldron pits. They all sketched the palace and clothes they could see, and had a lovely picnic lunch.

Thank you for the hard work you put into colleting sponsorship and the children’s dressing up on Thursday. We had a number of great sports personalities and the children all took part in a mile sports course during their PE lessons. Some children also took on the teachers in a lunch time Netball match and gave them a run for their money!
A huge thank you to Miss Newman and Miss O’Neill who led our sporting week and organised all the fun and fundraising!
