FOGS Update

This term the FOGS have subscribed to a Primary newspaper which children can use in class or in the library. They also plan to buy sound buttons so that teachers can record instructions for children to return to, or record their own sentences to remind them what they were going to write!

The FOGS can only  make these contributions to school through the events that they organise for us, and your support! So far we have had a year 7 mixer disco which they really enjoyed, and they are busy planning ahead for this term. On Thursday 29th November they are organising a ‘drop and shop’ where you can drop your child to school and go off Christmas shopping! There will be games and activities, and food in the ticket price. Letters to sign up for this will be shared by FOGS after half term.

We will also have a Christmas hamper raffle in the last week of term. This will be drawn on Tuesday 18th December during assembly.

Picking Up Children

Please don’t forget that you need to let the class teacher know, ideally via Dojo, if your child is being picked up by someone else. We will not be able to let your child go home with someone else if we do not have a message from you.

Wraparound

If your child is in wrap around and has forgotten items they will have to collect them the next day. We can not leave wrap around unsupervised to find things, and classrooms can be locked when the class teachers go home.
